spent a leisurely afternoon at waimea bay on the north shore building sandcastles and jumping off the rock! you'd never guess that this calm & sandy beach area turns into the home of some of the biggest, dangerous, most spectacular surf in the world by winter time... waves can reach heights of 30 ft!!
