Hike: Waihee Ridge Trail

With some time on our hands, Sato & I took off to hike the Waihee Ridge Trail. Wow! We started off in pasturelands, and then escalated to a ridge that reaches into the rainforest of the West Maui Moutains (W. Maui Mtns pictured to right).

We got lucky with our early morning start and were able to get sweeping views of Waihee Valley, the isthmus, some far away waterfalls, and even the western slopes of Haleakala... all before the clouds rolled in.

At the end of our hike, we saw distant views of Molokai. Apparently this is not always the case!!! Very cool.

Meet my brother, Andy!! There really is no logical explanation for this. Probably a little too much time on our hands. But we thought it would be funny to play a little joke on Dusty's friends at work.

Becca's Birthday! She's 27!

We spent Becca's birthday very leisurely on the North Shore!!!! Some how (if you can even imagine this) we ended up at Backyards... right down the street we were staying on... drinking Heinikens... watching the guys play coconut football. With that said, we should give a warning for those wanting to view this photo album, there really is no explanation for what you are about to see. None!!! :)

We had an awesome time at Pipe!!! The surf was incredible, the surfers were incredible! Highlighted with Dusty & Andy presenting the 7-time World Champion Kelly Slater with a Fosters Oil Can. I swear!!! Too good to be true.
