We spent Thanksgiving on the N. Shore of Oahu. So beautiful! And we took in a UH Football game while we were there. The UH Warriors were playing Boise St. Big rival! Loads of fun, except poor Makena. She was soooo sick. Much better now though.

Cindy & RoseAnne came over for Makena's 1st Thanksgiving. And even though we didnt get any pics of our actual Thanksgiving feast, Tripp, Emily & Baby Mikiala also joined in. Tripp, thanks for a yummy Tipsy Turkey!

Hike: Swinging Bridges, Waihee Valley

We headed out on the Swinging Bridges Hike today in the Waihee Valley. Sato pulled off some Indian Jones-like stunts as he crossed 2 bridges made out of 2x6 pieces of wood that were quite high. We all held our breath till the little guy skillfully made it across!!!

Unfortunately after the big success on the swinging bridges, Sato was greeted at the end of the trail by 2 really mean dogs. Little scary! He survived... and Dad took extra care of Sato when we got back home. Cooked him a nice salmon dinner.

7 Months

For Makena's 7 month photos... Nana was in town. So all the girls got together for the photo shoot. It's not everyday you capture 3 generations on film. :)

Now that Makena is 7 months old, she can say Da-da, sit up all by herself, scoots around on the verge of crawling... and did we mention her bottom 2 teeth are popping through! It's been a big month.
