Maui Half Marathon

I took it nice and easy and finished the Maui Half Marathon today! Beautiful coastline course in West Maui running from Kaanapali to Launiupoko and then back to Kaanapali. I was maybe half way done, when the winners from Kenya were finishing... crazy! But I just told myself I would take it nice and easy, and if anything felt bad or questionable I would stop. So that was my strategy and I did just fine finishing in 2:24:55, and that included a *few* bathroom stops. Not bad for being 10 weeks pregnant! ;)

Angel, Shawn, Carolyn & Paul came into town for a week of relaxation! Not sure how much they got, judging by how much they took in while they were here........ but it was great having them around. Come on back when you can!

Hana Relays

Team Cowboy: Eric, Mike & Rhonda

Dusty, Chad & Scott get the Drunken Chicken going back at the house in Hana...

Bo got a bunch of us together and we ran in the Hana Relays. A total of 6 of us took turns running different legs and ran from the Kahului Airport to Hana... an incredible 52 mile journey along 617 curves and over 56 bridges through the most breathtaking scenery in all of Maui. At the end of the race, we met up with our competitors "The Last of the Mohicans," and stayed at a house in Hana for the weekend. Dusty headed up the Drunken Chicken and we had quite a feast.

Our Growing Lil' Peanut!

The baby is growing!! No longer a dot, more of a little peanut!

Looks like I am almost 8 weeks with an Expected Due Date of April 17, 2007.
